19th Birthday Gifts
Spend the whole of Saturday's afternoon wandering along orchard road to buy birthday gifts. I started from Far East Plaza, bought nothing. I then went on to Takashimaya to take a look but still found nothing fanciful. I then decided to make a visit to Kinokuniya. There, I found copies of D. gray-man chinese manga vol. 9 , 10 and 11 which have been out of stock for a long time. Later, I found packs of totoro poker cards and handphone pouch with a strong Japanese taste/auora. I also saw a copy of orginal D. gray-man Japanese manga vol. 14 which cost S$9.60. Eventually, I bought D. gray-man chinese manga vol. 10 and 11, totoro poker cards and the Japanese handphone pouch.
Next, I went to cineleisure, rapid culture shop to have a look at the revoltech products. I ponder over the Evangelion models but decided not to buy it. The next stop was The Heeren Shops. I went to HMV and found nothing new. It was almost 6.10pm by the and I decided to take a bus to the stop at Rendervous Hotel instead of the usual walking. Yes, I was heading to Sunshine plaza which is a few block behind Rendervous Hotel. It is a perfect hideout for Anime/manga and model kits fanatics due to te number of good shops there selling them. I went to Kareshi Kanojyo No Mise (KKnM) and bought the Fullmetal Alchemist bag charm. I then visited the WhatComic? shop opposite and bought the small Evangelion model kit.
Finally, I took another bus to Peninsula Plaza to meet my father and visited the shop selling watches at low prices. I bought a silver G-shock watch that has a blue internal design. It was almost 7.30pm by the time I officially finished my shopping.
Finally I went home and foudn out that my brother has bought me a cool Dark Saber revoltech model.
Today is such a fruitful day ;D
